assalamualaikum..

workaholic. it's not a lifestyle. i need some air! hehe well, 3 days holidays should be enough right? inshaAllah..

kinda bored for these holidays. i just sleep..sleep..sleep..OKAY! THIS ONE IS ALSO NOT A LIFESTYLE! aiyak..manyak bosan woo..

this month i got my practical at Eye Clinic, Hospital Pulau Pinang. its a new place for me. i have to be careful and ask protection from Allah, the only one who can save me from anything. :)

what can i say in eye clinic. busy in the morning, and over-free in the evening. hmm. all of the staffs are very friendly and lots of knowledge i got here. baya, story awak boring okay! :P

many kind of person i met. haha. especially those aunties and uncles, who can speak in english fluently. waakakaka..tegagap kau baya membalas ayat depa! ^^

my job here are to do..

- eye irrigation.

- visual acuity.

- eye drops application.

- eye ointment.

- eye pad application.

- eye diagnostic colouring (flouresceine).

- colour blindness test.

- helping in removing foreign body from eye.

baru aku sedar, banyak jugak kena buat :P

too many things to learn before entering the clinic, and being hit by questions. but i didn't do any revision. haha. lazy baya, lazy!

i wanna tell you about visual acuity. what is that? with public peepz, we call it as vision test and one more name in malay, nak cek rabun. inshaAllah they'll understand it better.

internationally, snellen chart is used to test visual acuity. the snellen chart comes in many types of version, and we practice to use the numeric one because it is easy for public to say it out loud.

have you ever see this thing before? (the Snellen chart)

i'm sure you know this thing. huhu. as you can see here the number is inverse position, cause the number will be read on a mirror in front of it. this is to make the distance of sight in 6 metres. because normal people can see the third small number from below the chart in a distance of 6 metres away.

okay..if you're far-sighted, you can read all the numbers until the 3rd from below. but if you're short-sighted, you can't read it. depends on your power of dimness.

please, love your eyes, make good things with it and protect it from the nastiness of the evil. err...??? ini nda boleh jadi pendidikan kesihatan...ini pendidikan rohani...hohoho :P
